Create and Manage Metric Topics
1 Overview
Guandata Metrics Center supports metric topics. When building an enterprise metrics management system, different businesses or different metrics can be divided using topics, and permission management can be performed according to topics. For example, users can create different metric topics based on different business themes such as sales, finance, supply chain, human resources, etc., to classify and manage metrics in related business domains by scenario.
2 Operation Steps

Select "Metric Topics" in the left navigation bar, and use the dropdown in the top left to switch between topics you have permission to access. Click the "New Topic" button at the bottom of the topic dropdown list to create a new topic.

Configure the topic name and icon on the "New Topic" page.

Click the "More" button in the top right corner of the topic to perform topic editing, deletion, and permission management. For details on metric topic permission management, see Metric Topic Permission Management Description.
3 Metric Topic Permission Management Description
On the topic permission management page, you can add topic owners/visitors. The role descriptions are shown in the table below:
| Topic Role | Role Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | In the initial state, the creator is the owner, supporting adding multiple owners. |
| User | Supports adding multiple users. |
The role permissions required for operations on topics are shown in the table below. The required topic role and metrics center role conditions must be met simultaneously to perform corresponding operations:
