FAQ
Which versions support Insight Agent?
Environments upgraded to version 8.1 or later can use this feature.
What must be enabled before use?
Dashboard Insights must work properly, and the Insight Agent License must be enabled.
Why does each dashboard need a filter?
When the agent performs Cross-dashboard Linked Analysis, it uses filters for Dynamic Parameter Passing. If no filter is selected, cross-dashboard analysis accuracy and linkage effects may be affected.
How does the agent answer when no Expert is @mentioned?
When the Data Consumer does not @ a specific Expert, the agent answers according to the Default Analysis Path and Output Requirement in the agent's Analysis Path settings.
What changes after an Expert is @mentioned?
When the Data Consumer @mentions a specific Expert, the agent answers according to that Expert's User Prompt, Default Insight, Output Requirement, and Report Mode settings.
Is Report Mode enabled by default?
Report Mode is disabled by default. Data Producers can enable Report Mode in Expert settings and define the section structure of the insight report.
Who can manage agent permissions?
Users must first obtain the corresponding Role Permissions in the BI admin backend. The Authorize permission in Role Permissions controls whether the Permission Management module is visible in Agent Management.
