Release Notes
2026.10.09
This major release improves business analysis, task follow-up, and organizational integration across the agent lifecycle, from creation and configuration to validation, publishing, and use.
Feature Updates
Agent configuration and quality assurance
| Feature | Description | Related documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Agent creation and reuse | Create business agents through conversation or manual configuration, obtain templates from the marketplace, and reuse configurations through import and export. | Create and Manage Agents |
| Business capabilities | Configure BI datasets, dashboards, metrics, business ontologies, reference materials, and skills. An ontology can follow the latest version or use a specified version. | Configure Agents |
| Agent knowledge | Maintain shared terminology, metric definitions, and analysis conventions. Review and accept pending suggestions for subsequent analysis. | Agent Knowledge |
| Conversation and model settings | Configure the greeting, suggested questions, model, and reasoning level to suit business questions and analysis needs. | Conversation Settings |
| Draft testing, publishing, and access | Distinguish saving a draft from publishing, test drafts, and configure usage scope and collaborator permissions. | Test, Publish, and Manage Access |
| Agent evaluation | Manage fixed tasks and scoring criteria, generate candidate cases from existing conversations, organize cases by tags, select evaluation and judge models, and inspect scoring evidence. | Agent Evaluation |
| Agent self-evolution | Generate reviewable improvement drafts from failed evaluations, disliked responses, and recent slow responses. Apply them after human review and rerun evaluations to verify results. | Agent Self-Evolution |
Business ontologies, skills, and integrations
| Feature | Description | Related documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Ontology creation | Build ontologies through natural-language conversation, manual creation, or import to unify business objects, relationships, risks, actions, and question scenarios. | Create Business Ontologies |
| Ontology configuration and validation | Check ontology quality, preview models, configure object data assets, inspect associations and usage, and create version snapshots. Metric bindings support lineage inspection and opening in BI. | Business Ontology Components and Configuration |
| Personal skills | Upload skills, edit files, make changes through conversation, update file packages, and manage usage scope and collaborators. | Create and Manage Personal Skills |
| External connections | Connect to Guandata BI and Custom MCP services, authenticate as required, and manage connection status. | Configure Plugin Connections |
| API access | Create agent API integrations for third-party applications and manage credentials, allowed browser origins, external-user identity verification, and access to execution details. | Configure API Access |
| Organization BI connection | Organization owners centrally configure BI application credentials in system integration settings. Members need no individual connection and retain their own BI resource permissions. | Organization BI Environment |
| Organization email service | Configure a shared SMTP sender and control whether agents may email analysis results to organization members. | Email Service |
Conversation, task follow-up, and operations
| Feature | Description | Related documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Conversation and analysis | Ask the general assistant or a business agent questions, upload files, reference BI assets, and use @ to select previous conversations, skills, and plugins. Adjust reasoning levels and ask follow-up questions. | Conversation and Analysis |
| Analysis process and feedback | Inspect the execution trace and ontology evidence chain, branch from the current turn, submit change suggestions, and request troubleshooting for a turn. | View Responses, Feedback and Troubleshooting |
| Files and sharing | Browse deliverables, analysis files, input files, and shared files. Reuse materials, share agent entry points, and enable or revoke read-only conversation links. | Conversation Files and Sharing |
| Ongoing metric tracking | Recheck metrics against business recommendations, inspect reports and evidence, run manual reviews, and adjust the next review time. | Decision Tracking |
| Scheduled tasks | Run agents on a schedule, execute tasks manually, inspect execution history, and edit, pause, or resume tasks. | Scheduled Tasks |
| Personal memory | Maintain preferences and long-term conventions, and review generated memory suggestions for future conversations. | Personal Settings |
| Operations | View usage summaries, member statistics, token usage, and organization activity. Filter and export relevant details within role-based visibility limits. | View AI Operations |
Guides and best practices
The producer and consumer guides cover capability configuration and delivery, business questions, and use of results. The quick start connects both workflows. A consumer goods distributor example provides practical ontology and agent configuration guidance.

Behavior Changes
- BI requirements and connections: Guandata BI 8.2 or later is required. For production use, prefer the administrator-configured organization BI environment; members do not need separate connections. Personal connections supplement this for test or personal environments and support PAT or username/password authentication.
- When changes take effect: Saving an agent draft does not update the published configuration; publish it separately. Saved agent knowledge becomes available to subsequent retrieval without republishing the agent.
- Validation: Formal evaluations use the saved production configuration. Self-evolution drafts neither change production resources nor trigger reevaluation automatically. Review, apply, and validate them manually.
- Permissions: Sharing an agent entry point does not grant permission to use it. An organization BI connection does not expand members' existing BI data permissions.
