Product Overview
Product Overview
DecideX is an enterprise decision-agent platform. It combines BI data, business knowledge, and analytical methods to help users analyze business problems, recommend actions, and review changes over time.
Producers configure data assets, business definitions, and analysis workflows in agents, then test, publish, and grant access to them. Consumers ask questions in natural language, examine the supporting data, and ask follow-up questions to complete their daily analysis. The same person can perform both roles.
Use Cases
The following are typical business scenarios. The analysis available depends on the configured data, business rules, and access permissions.
| Scenario | Example questions | Analysis focus |
|---|---|---|
| Business performance anomalies | Which stores saw declining sales this month? What were the main causes? | Compare performance, identify affected stores, and investigate product, channel, and other dimensions. |
| Finance and budget analysis | Which departments exceeded their budgets? What contributed most to the variance? | Compare actuals with budgets using consistent definitions, and examine expense composition and changes. |
| Distributor performance | Which distributors are behind target? Who should we follow up with first? | Combine sales, store coverage, and visit data to identify risks and recommend follow-up actions. |
| Member engagement | Which member segments have declining repeat-purchase rates? What can we do? | Analyze member segments, repeat purchases, and churn to recommend actions. |
| Ongoing review and recurring analysis | Have last week's issues improved? Can we generate a weekly business analysis? | Use decision tracking to review business changes and scheduled tasks to run recurring analyses. |
Core Value
- Consistent business definitions: Turn terminology, metric definitions, and analytical methods into reusable configurations so that users do not need to explain the same rules repeatedly.
- Verifiable conclusions: Review citations, execution traces, and review reports to examine the basis of an analysis. Users must still evaluate conclusions against the data and business facts.
- Ongoing follow-up: Review changes through decision tracking and scheduled tasks. Maintainers can then adjust agent configurations based on feedback.
Core Capabilities
Organize Business Knowledge and Analysis Rules
Agents need both data and business context to understand an organization. DecideX can combine:
- BI assets: Datasets, dashboards, and metrics used for analysis. For production work, use the organization BI environment configured by an administrator. Members access resources according to their own BI permissions.
- Business ontologies: Define objects such as customers, products, and stores, and their relationships. Connect metrics, risks, actions, and business questions to help agents understand the business.
- Knowledge and reference materials: Add terminology, business conventions, policies, and analysis materials.
- Skills: Package reusable analysis steps, procedures, and output requirements for agents to use.
Add these resources as needed for each scenario. You do not need to configure every capability before getting started.
Configure, Run, and Manage Agents
DecideX supports the following stages from creation to delivery:
- Create and configure: Create agents through conversation or manual configuration. Set role instructions, business resources, welcome messages, and suggested questions.
- Test and improve: Verify results through draft testing and evaluations with fixed cases. Generate improvement drafts from feedback, then review, apply, and validate them.
- Publish and grant access: Publish the production configuration, set usage and collaboration permissions, and integrate with external applications as needed.
- Operate and maintain: Monitor usage, token consumption, and organization activity. Maintain shared knowledge and external service connections.
