Page pre refresh
Overview
This feature preloads the Dashboards users need in advance, so users do not need to wait for data loading when viewing them. It significantly reduces waiting time and improves data consumption efficiency.
Pre-Refresh is disabled by default and can be enabled as needed.
Applicable Scenarios
If you face any of the following situations, Page Pre-Refresh is recommended:
- During peak business hours, many users access a small number of Dashboards at the same time, causing task congestion.
- Leaders focus on only a few Dashboards and spend little time viewing them, but the waiting time can be longer than the viewing time.
- Dashboards are used regularly for executive reporting, and waiting during meetings wastes time.
Procedure

-
Click Admin Center in the upper-right corner of the page, then go to Resource Management > Page Pre-Refresh.

-
Turn on the Page Pre-Refresh switch to enable the feature.
-
By setting a global pre-refresh time range, the system can trigger early refresh for Dashboards during the specified period whenever the corresponding Dataset is updated, so Dashboard data is loaded in advance.
DescriptionThe time range cannot exceed 10 hours.

-
Add the Dashboards that need pre-refresh. You can select a single Dashboard or select multiple Dashboards in a folder. After selecting the target Pages, click OK to proceed.
Note- Do not configure too many pre-refresh Pages and corresponding users, otherwise it may affect real user access and cause refresh delays.
- If a selected target Page contains multiple tabs, only the content of the first tab takes effect.

-
After adding a Page, you can edit its refresh time range, refresh priority, which is effective only for extract Datasets, and the corresponding users or user groups to be refreshed. You need to manually select the users or user groups that require pre-refresh.
DescriptionIf a user or user group is removed from the Page permission list, pre-refresh will no longer take effect for that user or user group.

Management and Maintenance
The above steps describe how to add and edit pre-refresh Pages. The following section explains Page management and maintenance. The system currently supports the following four actions:

| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Users can click Edit on a Page at any time to adjust the current pre-refresh configuration. |
| Delete | Deletes the current pre-refresh Page. This action cannot be undone. If the Dashboard Page itself is deleted, the corresponding pre-refresh configuration is also deleted. Even if the Dashboard Page is restored from the recycle bin, the pre-refresh configuration will not be restored and must be configured again. |
| Refresh Records | Displays each refreshed Page, the corresponding refreshed users, the Datasets that triggered the refresh update, and the start and end times of the submitted pre-refresh task. The end time indicates only task submission completion, not refresh completion. Records are retained for 30 days. |
| Refresh | Supports manual refresh for a Page. The current Page is promoted to the highest priority in the pre-refresh queue. It is not affected by the refresh time range or refresh end time. |
