Product Behavior Changes

CLI/MCP Call Quota

Starting September 1, 2026, CLI/MCP usage is billed by the number of calls. This change applies to V8.2 and later. Existing users must activate their call quota after upgrading. New users can also activate a free quota of 50,000 CLI/MCP calls. After the free quota is exhausted, contact your Guandata sales representative or customer success manager to purchase more calls.

For the upgrade impact, activation process, and usage details, see CLI/MCP Call Quota.

AI Model Quota Activation and Display

The Guandata AI model service now displays its quota in AI Credits instead of a monetary balance: CNY 1 = 20 AI Credits. Quotas are enabled through the activation page. This change applies to V8.2 and later. Existing users must activate their quota after upgrading and retain their remaining balance. New users receive 2,000 AI Credits (equivalent to a CNY 100 trial quota) after activation. To continue using the service after the quota is exhausted, contact your Guandata sales representative or customer success manager.

For the upgrade impact, activation process, and usage details, see AI Model Quota Activation and Display.

Batch Permission Export Removed

Batch permission export from the users page under user groups in the administration center is no longer supported for performance and stability reasons.

Before upgrading: Batch permission export was available, but its performance could cause out-of-memory errors.

After upgrading: Batch permission export is unavailable. If you need this information, consider an alternative such as exporting built-in datasets.

Default Metric Card Value Style

Metric card values now use neutral black text in bold instead of the brand color in regular weight. This emphasizes key values, improves readability, and reduces visual clutter across multiple cards.

Before upgrading: Using the brand color for many values blurred the distinction between branding and emphasis. Regular-weight values lacked visual prominence.

After upgrading: Black, bold values establish a clearer information hierarchy. Brand colors can be used selectively, improving consistency across business styles.

Impact: Cards without manually configured value colors or font weights adopt the new default. Cards with custom settings retain them.

Card Limit per Page

To improve page loading performance and avoid excessive front-end load, a limit can be set for the total number of cards on a page, including dashboards and large-screen displays.

Before upgrading: There was no hard limit. Pages with hundreds of cards could load metadata slowly and generate excessive concurrent requests.

After upgrading:

  1. The default limit is 600 cards per page.
  2. System administrators can configure a limit from 100 to 9,999.
  3. Once a page reaches the limit, creating a card, saving a card as a new card, or creating a card from a dataset is blocked.

Impact: Users must remove unnecessary cards or ask an administrator to increase the limit before adding more cards.
