Guandata BI Product Version and Service Lifecycle
Guandata BI Version Numbering System
Starting from January 1, 2024, Guandata will strictly adhere to global software lifecycle management standards and specifications. Guandata BI adopts a three-digit version numbering system:

First version number: Based on company product strategy level definition, when the first digit is upgraded +1, it means a strategic upgrade of the product line, generally once a year.

Second version number: Increments from 0, when this version is upgraded +1, it means important feature releases that enhance customer value and product capabilities, generally one version per quarter.

Third version number: Increments from 0, when this version is upgraded +1, it mainly serves planned iterations of major feature capabilities, customer temporary or urgent demand responses, added as needed, generally once a month, with possible adjustments during holidays or other special circumstances.

To maximize the stability and availability of customers using Guandata products, as well as the flexibility of subsequent upgrades, we will maintain at most three major versions of the latest version after version 5.9.0, and the previous two quarterly versions of the latest major version.

End of Service versions (i.e., EOS versions) will be published in advance on official websites and other public channels according to the release plan, making it convenient for customers to find and confirm. After the EOS version expires, technical personnel will no longer provide specialized product operations and patch development functions. Front-line staff should notify the customer's project liaison or system administrator to urge customers to upgrade their versions.
Service Support Scope
We follow global software lifecycle management standards and specifications, continuously providing services such as new features, bug fixes, and security patches during the product service lifecycle. According to industry best practices and standards, EOS (End of Service, stopping product software update services) means that the version will no longer provide support in terms of feature updates, bug fixes, and security patches. Related support content will also no longer be updated, including help documentation on the official website and other online support. Additionally, we will also stop personalized development and technical fixes for that version. Meanwhile, ongoing operations and after-sales Q&A support will continue normally.
