Feature Explanation

Usually, only the general computing engine service exists. The ETL computing engine service appears only after resource isolation is configured.

  • The general computing engine service, Spark Jobengine, is responsible for calculation and task scheduling for non-direct cards.
  • The ETL computing engine service, ETL Spark Jobengine, is responsible for ETL calculation, Guan_Index dataset updates, and similar tasks.

Use Cases

When system stability issues cause problems such as slow or accumulated tasks, or slow card loading, restart the service to resolve them.

For example, in the following situation, a card task has been running for 14 minutes, causing data from other cards to fail to load. In this case, restart the general computing engine to resolve the issue. Similarly, after resource isolation is configured, if ETL tasks are queued, restart the ETL computing engine.

Note

Do not restart services unless necessary. During restart, the system automatically cancels running ETL and dataset update tasks. If related tasks need to run again, manually execute them.
