Dashboard Directory Rules and Sorting

Dashboard Directory Overview

Dashboard refers to a page that is a collection of data visualization cards, mainly including dashboard pages and directories.

The left side of the dashboard is the dashboard directory bar, divided into two tab pages: "Favorites" and "Dashboard". The "Dashboard" tab directory mainly contains 3 parts in order:

1. Overview

2. Enterprise-level directory (below Overview, above the dividing line)

3. Account-level directory (below the dividing line)

Overview Page

The overview page is displayed at the top of the dashboard directory (position cannot be moved). When each user creates an account, an overview page that belongs only to that user is created by default, which is equivalent to the user's personal draft page, cannot be authorized to others, and all other users (including administrators) cannot browse and operate this page.

  If you don't want users to use the overview page, administrators can use the button in "Administrator Settings - System Management - Advanced Settings" to choose whether to hide the overview page.

Directory Sorting

Folders: By default, sorted by folder creation time;

Dashboards within the same folder/same directory level: By default, sorted by page creation time.

Modify Dashboard Directory Order

1. Account-level Directory

In the dashboard left directory, you can directly drag and drop to adjust the order.

?Note: This method is only a user-level (including administrator) operation, which only changes the user's personal page order and does not take effect for other users' page order in the directory.

2. Enterprise-level Directory

Only administrators can adjust, and it takes effect for the entire BI platform: Set unified enterprise-level pages in "Administrator Settings - Enterprise Settings - Enterprise Page Settings", and you can drag and drop to adjust the order by holding the icon in front of the folder or page name.
