Data Visualization Wall FAQ

Is Data Visualization Wall available for SaaS and private deployment, or only for private deployment?

Answer: It is also available on SaaS. Data Visualization Wall is a value-added feature and can be used after purchase.

Can cards in a card group be replaced directly by dragging?

Answer: No. First delete the card to be replaced from the card group, then reselect a card from the card pool. If the target card is not in the card pool, click New Card or Copy Card from Dashboard to add it.

Why are cards lost after switching the wall template?

Answer: Switching templates resets and clears the canvas. Cards must be added again from the card pool, so we recommend selecting the template first.

Why does screen casting not adapt to the large screen?

Answer: The maximum screen size for Data Visualization Wall is controlled by the configured resolution. If the casting screen resolution is smaller than the configured resolution, it adapts automatically. If it exceeds the configured resolution, it is centered on the screen according to the configured resolution. Adjust the wall resolution based on the actual screen size.

Answer: Click the app launcher in the upper-right corner, go to Slides, and create a new slide. For Page, select Data Visualization Wall. You can then select multiple data walls that the user has permission to access. Configure the carousel method, save it, and click Play in the slide list.

Why does data not refresh automatically after screen casting?

Answer: Click the (...) icon in the upper-right corner of the wall page. Real-time data is disabled by default and must be enabled manually before the page refreshes automatically. Each time you switch browsers or casting screens, you need to turn the switch on again. Refresh frequency path: Admin Settings > System Management > Real-time Settings.

Does Data Visualization Wall support mobile browsing?

Answer: No. As the name suggests, Data Visualization Wall is designed for large-screen display. On small mobile screens, resolution proportions do not match, content is hard to read, and the visual effect is poor. To edit a wall on mobile, switch the mobile browser to desktop PC mode and enter the editing page.

Is rollback supported during editing?

Answer: No. The editing page does not provide rollback, undo, or cancel-save features. Any change takes effect immediately, so operate carefully.

Why does real-time wall data fail to load, and how can it be resolved?

Cause: 1. Most real-time data cards depend on direct-connection datasets. Unstable database networks, large data volume, or overly complex calculations can slow BI data reads from the database. 2. The configured real-time refresh frequency for the wall is too high, so the page refreshes automatically before data finishes loading, causing cards to stay loading.

Solution: 1. Reduce the queried data volume and simplify calculations. 2. Set an appropriate Data Visualization Wall real-time refresh frequency.

A wall template installed from the App Marketplace says installation succeeded, but the template is not visible in wall editing

After downloading it from the App Marketplace, view it in the left directory bar of Data Visualization Wall.
