Color Field Usage Scenario Experience Summary-Clustered Line Chart
Card Color Setting Overall Overview:
Card colors can be set in two places, 1 is theme color, 2 is the [color] field.
- As shown in the figure, when there are no fields in the [Color] area, the chart colors are colored according to the theme color. When you adjust the color settings in "Theme/Color" here, the chart colors change accordingly;

- When fields are dragged to the [Color] area, the theme color becomes ineffective for numerical fields (such as [Sales Amount] here):

At this time, the settings in the [Color] area will take effect for the colors of numerical fields, and you can set the colors of bar charts here:

Specific Usage Scenario Introduction:
Scenario 1:
After dragging other numerical fields of non-numerical dimensions into the [Color] area, it is found that the color of the overlay graph (line) is consistent with the color of the [Color] field. How to achieve setting the line color separately?

Solution:
We don't recommend putting fields of non-numerical dimensions into the [Color] area unless there are special scenario uses.
The correct usage method is as mentioned above, you need to drag the fields in the numerical fields to the [Color] area for color settings,
If you want to set the line color separately and distinguish it from the color of the attached field icon, then you can put the field in "More Tool Tips" here. At this time, you can see that the colors of the three fields are different, corresponding to the first three colors of the theme color respectively:

Scenario 2:
Use non-numerical dimension text fields to set the colors of bar charts to achieve the effect of highlighting certain specific bars.
Solution:
Drag text fields (generally fields on dimensions or fields related to fields on dimensions) to the color area for color settings.
- Set colors for fields on dimensions, directly drag dimension fields to the [Color] field. Note that color settings currently only support setting 20 field items, more than 20 cannot be set:

- Use judgment (Boolean type) to set the colors of specific bars. Here you can use ordinary formulas, or use parameters to achieve a dynamic display effect:
① Implementation method of ordinary formula:
