Dashboard Deletion and Recycling

Overview

Dashboard Deletion and Recycling means that when users edit a Dashboard, they can delete Dashboard pages and cards that are no longer needed, and they can also retrieve deleted pages and cards from the recycle bin.

Operation Instructions

For ordinary Dashboard pages (excluding Custom Reports and Custom Lists) and cards in the page, they can be retrieved from the recycle bin after deletion.

Recycle Bin

Open the grid menu in the upper right corner of the system and click "Recycle Bin" in the pop-up menu.

General Features

  • Search: Supports fuzzy search by Resource name.
  • Restore to Original Location: Dashboard recycling recovers the page and cards as a whole; when recycling cards, the system checks whether the Dashboard they belong to and necessary associated information exist. If they exist, the cards can be restored to their original location.
  • Permanently Delete: After permanently deleting a Resource, the data can no longer be recovered.
  • Empty Recycle Bin: After emptying the recycle bin, all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Regular User Interface: Can only see records deleted by themselves.
  • Admin User Interface: Can see deletion records of all users in the current domain. Cards/pages recovered by the admin cannot be recovered by users again.

Page Deletion

Click the button on the right side of the page name and click the "Delete" option.

In the delete page pop-up window, click the delete button to move the current page to the recycle bin.

Note

When a page is referenced by a moved Data Application or Portal, deletion is not allowed.

Card Deletion

On an ordinary Dashboard page, click "..." in the upper right corner of a card and click "Delete".

In the delete card pop-up window, click the "Permanently Delete" button to move the current card to the recycle bin.

Note

When the page where the card is located is also deleted, restoring the card requires restoring its original page first.

Empty Recycle Bin

The automatic emptying time defaults to 30 days, with a maximum of 90 days and a minimum of 1 day (Example: If set to 30 days, it will execute cyclic clearing, emptying recycle bin content that exceeds 30 days every day).

The platform's fixed emptying task execution time is 23:59 on the deadline day. (Example: If set to 1 day, a card deleted on June 1 will be cleared from the recycle bin at 23:59 on June 2).

Admins can set the automatic recycle bin emptying time: Management Center - Operations Management - System Setting - General settings - Recycle bin parameter settings
